1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using the Apitix mobile application (“App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Apitix is a mobile ticketing platform that allows users to:
- Browse and discover events
- Purchase event tickets
- Store and display digital tickets for event entry
3. Account Registration
To purchase tickets, you must create an account with accurate information including your name, email address, and phone number. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
4. Ticket Purchases
- All ticket sales are final unless the event is cancelled by the organizer
- Ticket prices are set by event organizers and include applicable fees
- Tickets are non-transferable unless explicitly allowed by the event organizer
- You must present a valid ticket (QR code) for event entry
5. Refunds and Cancellations
- Event Cancellation: If an event is cancelled, you will receive a full refund
- Event Rescheduling: Tickets remain valid for rescheduled dates; refunds may be available
- No-Shows: No refunds are provided for no-shows or failure to attend
Refund requests should be directed to the event organizer or support@apitix.com.
6. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to resell tickets at inflated prices (scalping)
- Create fake accounts or provide false information
- Attempt to duplicate, forge, or tamper with tickets
- Interfere with the App’s functionality or security
7. Intellectual Property
All content in the App, including logos, designs, and software, is owned by Apitix or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute this content without permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
Apitix is a platform connecting users with event organizers. We are not responsible for:
- The quality or cancellation of events
- Actions of event organizers or venue staff
- Loss or theft of personal belongings at events
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apitix shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
9. Third-Party Services
The App integrates with third-party services including:
- Paystack for payment processing
- Google Analytics for app analytics
Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and policies.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
